MIST WAY · A CAMPAIGN TALE

The Avenue of Gods

I · The Message

Six-panel comic: Skaven surround the last Saurus defenders at the Avenue of Gold. Wounded Kroq-Gar tells a Skink, ‘To the sea.’ The messenger asks, ‘And the others?’ A golden sign declares ‘Mission Successful! 500 / 500.’ The Skink escapes through the jungle and reaches a moonlit shore with a broken gold plaque. The final captions read: ‘The gods had their answer. Someone still had to carry ours.’ — Open the full-size page
